AT december 23,05 i had my lipid profile test at India as my BP was 160/90.on the test report it was found 1)Triglyceride-375,2)Cholestorel-230,.doctor prescribe me Lipicard (Fenofibrate) for Triglyceride and Amlodac (amlodepine) for Blood Pressure.And suggest me to have the next test after 3 months.presently i am working at Saudi Arabia.Here i have the test for lipid profile at April 2,06 according to the doctors advice under whom i used to go for my Medical chekup usally for BP.In the blood test it was found 1)Triglyceride-275 2)cholestorel -325.so the doctor prescribed me Lipitor for cholestorel. By seeing this result i became frustrated and went for another doctor and have my lipid profile test on April4,06.the result was 1) Triglyceride-335 and 2)cholestorel-275.And Bp 140/80.and the doctor prescribed me Lepanthol(Fenofibrate)and Amvasc(amlodepine).and i am taking this medicine.My Questions - 1)How to reduce the Cholestorel Level ,2) how cholestorel is going to affect,3) what type of foods i need to take. And for ur information i am smoking from last 10 yrs.and after my work i feel stress. please advice me how i can improve my health

Ans:
exercise atleast for 30 minutes daily, avoid nonveg( use fish in moderate) stop totally smoking, be free of tension, for some gain some pain has to be taken, donot change doctors as now most of the tt is standard with minor personal variation. It is life style disease so we have to pay penalty for worldly gains and be in the senseless race of becoming more & more rich.
